Welcome to MaMiNa Bakery, a Romanian home bakery & catering in Thornhill Woods specializing in slow-fermented sourdough bread, focaccia, sweet and savoury sourdough artisan pies and strudels, decadent desserts, traditional Romanian sweets such as “cozonac”, “pasca” and a large selection of homemade natural jams. 

We offer tastylicious homemade dishes, grazing tables, charcuterie boards and many more for corporate events and special celebrations.

Every baked item is made fresh, from scratch, and in small batches using simple, quality ingredients and the goodness of sourdough.

Homemade sourdough bread differs quite a lot from most commercial breads made with cultured baker’s yeast. The long natural fermentation changes the chemistry of the dough and offers many health benefits. Every loaf or dessert feels like it came straight from my kitchen to yours, and it actually does; handcrafted with love and care, patience and passion, especially for YOU by Alice.
